We bought out first house using Taylor Bracewell. Andrew was very helpful and super responsive whenever we had any questions or needed any help with anything, he was there to answer them. I would recommend Taylor Bracewell to anyone looking to purchase a property.
View this review on GoogleShocking experience. I consulted them about a Will under free Wills month. I wasn't happy with the draft or the vast amount of pages of client care and terms of business letter which was impossible to understand. I therefore sent everything back and said I did not wish to proceed to finality. They then raised a bill for over £200 which I didn't pay due to the fact it was prepared under the free Wills month scheme. I would have still been more than happy to pay the suggested amount of £100.00 to charity. They told me I couldn't do this and I should refer to client care letter which I no longer had. Again I said I didn't think I should be paying for something I hadn't received. Again I offered to proceed with the Will and pay the contribution to charity but they refused. They then proceeded to issue court proceedings against me now with extra charges making this now over £300. They were unapproachable and aggressive when speaking with their representatives. One of them even called me at nearly 7pm at night chasing the money. I think they probably didn't pass any of the money to charity. Not a very great example of a good Solicitors!!
View this review on GoogleAlthough I didn’t directly use Taylor Bracewell, our sellers used this firm.
Throughout the process Taylor and Bracewell were extremely difficult to get into contact with. The estate agent, the seller and our solicitors would have to send multiple chaser emails to get responses. Documents that were encoded by the seller in November were only looked at in January which meant the process was delayed.
They only found issues with the sellers purchase 3 days before completion, and this caused a further two week delay which risked the sale falling through with the changes to stamp duty.
It took the sellers raising a formal complaint for this form to get their act together.
I would avoid this firm altogether and instead use a more well reviewed form like Taylor Emmet. As at the time of our purchase Taylor Bracewell didn’t have an online portal and required lots of postal sending back forth of documents which helped speed hands further delays.
View this review on GoogleVery good service from Brad Whiteley and his assistant on my house purchase last year. The seller seriously tested my patience with her stupidity but Brad kept his cool. Exchange and completion on the same day after a very stressful experience but other than a few days of silence Taylor Bracewell never put a foot wrong.
