Adam Mercer has been an invaluable support during what has been a very complex and emotionally challenging process. His knowledge is exceptional, and he has kept me updated throughout it all. Adam demonstrated a high level of professionalism from the very start, taking on my case at extremely short notice when a key deadline was imminent. Despite this, Adam handled everything calmly and efficiently, which immediately gave me confidence that I was in safe hands!
Throughout this process, it has been clear that Adam truly understands the situation and provides practical, thoughtful advice, which has made an extremely difficult experience feel far more manageable. Despite dealing with much slower and unresponsive sellers they kept the process on track and managed to complete on the property purchase at the very last minute (literally 5pm of the last day of the mortgage offer) experiencing constant delays from the other party.
They have had less than 11 weeks and were super responsive and proactive during the whole process!

In March 2025, I reached out to Sinclair Law after the local authority proposed placing my son—who had been in a special needs environment for six years—into a mainstream college setting. It was a deeply concerning situation for our family, and that’s when we were introduced to Adam.

View this review on GoogleI contacted Sinclair’s Law in December after two years of my daughter not attending school and facing the threat of prosecution for non attendance. My parental EHCP application failed at panel and I was really concerned that my daughter’s needs were not being recognised by her school and the local authority. I spoke with Adam Mercer Solicitor and he offered me a calm and rational response to a very stressful situation. It’s taken a number of months and we have now a full EHCP in place with EOATs and a fully funded place at the online school we wanted. Adam has been a calm and supportive solicitor who has attended meetings, mediation and issued judicial review and letter before action letters to the local authority. His knowledge and dedication to ensure the very best outcome for my daughter has been outstanding and we would not be in this position without his support. Adam Mercer was a steady hand and managed to circumvent matters, helping my child get educational provision in place for the first time in many years.
He was what every SEND parent hopes to find in trying circumstances: calm, consistent, knowledgeable and skilled. He genuinely is a remarkable person and we are very greatful to have him help improve our childs future prospects.
