He really helped me understand what was going on and told me what I needed to know so I could make an informed decision (as opposed to what I wanted to hear, which would have led to a poor decision on my part). I felt David was there for me and on my side, even though my case wasn't strong. That meant a lot to me at a difficult & stressful time.
