Over the last 3.5 myself and my brother have sadly lost both of our parents. Sadly due to their lack of forward and future planning we were left with sorting their affairs out. From start to finish tomos carruthers Abbi evans and also Finn touhig have been exceptional. Their kindness, compassion, attention to detail and also their support has been outstanding. As a family what was a very difficult and traumatic experience to endure was made easier by their professional approach to helping. Whatever your legal requirements may be I cannot express how good this firm
Really is. Thank you all very much we are as a family appreciated everything you did for us.
View this review on GoogleI paid around £2,000 for legal advice in relation to my commercial lease. Unfortunately, I feel that important obligations and risks within the lease were not properly explained to me before completion.
After reviewing the lease in more detail, I discovered significant repairing obligations, potential liability for roof repairs, and other ongoing responsibilities that I did not fully understand at the time of signing. Had these matters been clearly explained, I would have been in a much better position to make an informed decision.
I expected professional advice that highlighted the key risks and liabilities within the lease. Based on my experience, I do not believe I received the level of guidance I was paying for.
I am disappointed with the service and do not feel that the fees charged reflected the value of the advice I received.
View this review on GoogleI had an appointment today with one of the solicitors.
He showed me the chair, then introduced a lady, who is a trainee solicitor.
He did not ask if I minded that the trainee stayed in the room.
This was unprofessional.
He then appeared to ask a question, then try to belittle me me, with his answers.
Almost showing off to the trainee.
To add, he appeared not very clued up on law. I was explaining to him the act to use. He said "what Act"
I had to tell him it was the Misrepresentation Act of 1967..
Never again will I use this solicitors.
This is my opinion and must be taken as such.
View this review on GoogleAfter suffering a fall due to badly maintained paving slabs and consequently having an operation on my arm I turned to Chris Lewis to help with my injury claim.
From the first meeting with Chris I felt confident in trusting him with my case. Chris moved firms during the process but I was more than happy to stay with him in his new role at Ruben Lewis O’ Brien Solicitors.
I was pleased with the outcome , although it took a while, but I knew I was right in trusting Chris.
Many thanks to Chris and his team at Ruben Lewis O’Brien.
