I cannot recommend Moore Barlow and the personal injury team highly enough (both the London and Southampton offices) From the very first consultation through to the successful resolution of a complex accident/injury claim which lasted many years, the whole team provided an exceptional level of professionalism, expertise, and support. I would like to take this opportunity to therefore thank every member of the team involved.(Rebecca, Juliette, Carol, Damian, Fadwa, Siobhan ,apologies if I forgot anyone else). Additionally, I would like to specifically express my sincere gratitude and thank from the bottom of my heart to Rebecca Waller and Juliette Moule for their professionalism, compassion and dedication. View this review on GoogleHORRIFIC LAW FIRM. :-((( They purport to be expert Land Development lawyers, a specialist field, as opposed to Commercial. I am not a property developer, but took over my Dad's firm in 2009. Moore Barlow acted for Durmast Ltd until circa. 2022. I thought they were top draw! MB assured us the Section 106 we signed was watertight and in our favour. When water voles were discovered on the day we commenced the new road access, work was halted by the Council. It was then we found we were LANDLOCKED, because of flaws in the Section 106 Agreement. The TP1 MB crafted had restricted access. This was a shock. The NEXT problem was the Sales Contract to Zone C, approx. 100m from the new road access. This was not fully completed by the 9th October 2022 deadline. We were helpless: We missed the deadline to build the road to Zone C through issues that a competent land lawyer would have drafted for. There was no harmonisation or 'put on hold' clause. Our first MB lawyer left with ill health, then the second, then the third, also for ill health I think. Our FOURTH was the Head of Commercial ... Alas there was nothing he could do to fix his colleagues faux pas's. In fact he wanted payment to look at the Contracts his colleagues at MB had executed. The buyer of Zone C took full advantage of the flaws in the Zone C contract. We are talking of easily £200K in losses. The Managing Partner of MB refused to meet us. We had pre-paid Moore Barlow circa. £46,000 from memory to match their fee quote. The Head of Commercial refused to act circa. October 2022 when I go agitated. We were evicted from the firm. From memory £1M was held on Deposit with them at this time. We went to Paris Smith. Our bills to Paris Smith [which may have covered some new work] was £73,000. Their comment was akin to " fixing poor legal drafting." I am 73. This has been a horrific experience for me at my age. Lawyers used to own up to their mistakes. Our Formal Complaint has fallen on stony ground - as we expected. If you would like to learn more, ask Moore Barlow for my contact details. I am planning to write a book on this unhappy tale. The FORTH lawyer at MB has also left. Maybe the NEW team IS actually competent. The old team: USELESS. MB still refuse to discuss compensation. [This is likely to be ongoing, so I cannot elucidate] At my age I am not relishing instructing a lawyer to sue MB, but I fear that is how the system works. My advice: Try to buy Insurance, in case your contracts are as weak as ours were!!! Try After The Event insurance. The personal stress has been awful. Only a few months ago Moore Barlow sent around £4,000 in Interest. I had always said we were owed Interest in 2022, but MB ignored me. Better late than never!! Moore Barlow seem to care about their reputation, but NOT their client. Why one star? The coffee was nice! Verdict: Very unhappy and very costly experience indeed. E. & O.E. Signed RKN. From the outset he explained everything clearly and regular check-ins meant we were updated every step of the way. He was easy to contact and quick to respond to all communication. I found him to be professional, pro-active and patient throughout. He and his team worked efficiently to arrange last-minute appointments just before Christmas which I imagine was quite the challenge. He helped secure a positive outcome and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

In particular with Siobhan and Damian who were so professional throughout the whole process and very supportive of our situation. They work with such honesty and my family and I are always grateful that we were able to find them during our difficult times.
