  I honestly cannot recommend Max Marsden highly enough. Max is a fantastic solicitor and someone who has supported me consistently over the past 4 years. From the very beginning, he has always been approachable, professional, understanding, and genuinely committed to helping me get the best possible outcome.

  Max works at McCormicks Solicitors in Harrogate, and I have always found the whole experience there to be excellent. The offices are very modern, professional, and welcoming, and the atmosphere is really nice as soon as you walk in. The receptionist is always very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which makes a big difference, especially when you may already feel nervous or stressed about why you are there. It is a very welcoming place, and you can tell straight away that there is a brilliant team behind Max and the company.

  McCormicks Solicitors come across as an amazing company with a strong team behind them. Everyone I have dealt with has been professional and welcoming, and the office has a calm, modern, and supportive feel to it. That kind of atmosphere really helps when you are dealing with serious or stressful legal matters, because you feel like you are in the right place and being looked after properly.

  Whenever I have needed Max, he has always been there. He listens properly, takes the time to understand what you are saying, and never makes you feel rushed or ignored. That means a lot, especially when you are dealing with stressful situations and need someone who can guide you through everything clearly and calmly. He is not only brilliant at what he does professionally, but he is also a genuinely kind, supportive, and reliable person.

  One of the things I appreciate most about Max is the way he explains everything. Legal processes can be confusing and overwhelming, but Max always takes his time to explain how things work, what is happening, what the next steps are, and what your options are. He explains things in a way that is clear and easy to understand, which really helps me because I have ADHD, ASD and dyslexia. He is patient, understanding, and always makes sure I properly understand what is going on before anything moves forward.

  Max is absolutely brilliant during police interviews. He stays calm, professional, and focused, and he always gives the best advice. He makes sure your rights are protected, stands up for you when needed, and makes you feel supported throughout the whole process. Having someone like Max by your side makes a massive difference because you know you have someone experienced, confident, and genuinely on your side.

  He is always enthusiastic about getting the best outcome and you can tell he really cares about the people he represents. He does not just treat you like another case. He takes the time to listen, advise, explain, and support you properly. That kind of dedication is rare, and it is one of the reasons I have continued to use him for the past 4 years.

  Max has helped me feel more confident and reassured during difficult times. He always gives honest advice, explains things properly, and makes sure I know where I stand. His support has made a huge difference to me, and I am very grateful for everything he has done.

  In my opinion, Max Marsden is an incredible solicitor. He is professional, reliable, knowledgeable, supportive, patient, and genuinely brilliant at his job. Alongside the welcoming offices at McCormicks Solicitors in Harrogate, the friendly receptionist, the modern environment, and the brilliant team behind him, the whole experience has always been excellent.

  I would like to thank everyone at McCormicks solicitor especially Shah Suhail Ahmed. Shah went above and beyond to see to my case being dealt with in a professional manner. He was very attentive to my case. I was under a lot of stress, he assured me of my worries and dealt with the case in the best way possible with the best outcome. I can’t thank shah’s enough for his time and effort. It couldn’t have been easy but was made to look easy. I would highly recommend Shah as he is very good at what he does. Thank you Mr Shah.

  My family and I encountered a sudden egregious sitiation that left us in urgent need for legal assistance. I frantically made calls to any and many firms but the help I needed was immediate and everyone I spoke to had little to no time to even hear me out. Assanine advice and unempathetic apologies became mentally insurmountable, as I was running out of ideas and hope, it is at this point i spoke to Mr Suhail Shah a Lawyer at McCormicks Solicitors, he immediately put mine and my families mind at ease with his kind understanding demeanour. He was the first person who took the decency to listen to our problems with an actual interest to help us. He spoke in plain simple english without using any legal jargon which helped us as we were not well versed in any legal matters at the time. Mr Shah guided us every step of the way providing ample information surrounding our issue, explaining everything as we went along in detail. He kept us well informed and was always easy to get hold of, this is an experience I have not had with Law firms/lawyer's very often. The advice and guidance over a number of weeks prevented us from taking matters to court and we managed to overcome our legal problems with Mr Shahs help.

  Being a small business owner, owed a significant amount of money can be crippling and stressful. I've unfortunately had to deal with a number of solicitors for such matters.

  My dealings with McCormicks, specifically David Birks, could not have been a more positive experience. His frankness, professionalism and determination to get the correct outcome totally dissolved the frustration I was experiencing out of the process.

  Compared to other solicitors I have worked with, David was wholly transparent, telling me what he needed me to provide and what his inclusion in proceedings would mean. In every facet, he was true to his word and delivered on every promise.

  In a profession where trust is key but not always present, I could not recommend McCormick's highly enough.

  I have dealt with Peter Minnikin in my criminal case. He was very unsympathetic with situation. His attitude was very challenging and rarely made himself available to calmly explain the procedures to me. When my case was finally over, he tried to claim more money from Legal Aid and the fees were contested. After the final bill he sent, Legal Aid needed a letter from him to state that he would not claim more money against my case which he never sent. When I became aware of this I contacted and informed him they were waiting on a letter or email from him. After several requests he guaranteed me he would send it but he never has. I have been waiting for several thousands (5kish) to be returned to me which would be nice before Xmas, and have to wait for at least 5 months before Legal Aid can trigger the refund due to him not sending an email. The entire case was dealt with poorly and I would never used him again, particularly for a criminal case which is supposed to be his specialty. Extremely unhappy customer.
