We had new wills written along with LPA's. Sophie Dawkins was very friendly and professional, listening to what we wanted and did as requested. Very happy with LDJ and would happily recommend.

The service I received was shocking from start to finish. The barrister arrived late to the final hearing and, when she eventually turned up, appeared completely unprepared and unprofessional. The final outcome was utterly baffling and felt wholly unjust.
To make matters worse, the solicitor who had been dealing with my case either left the firm or was removed, with no proper explanation or continuity of care. Despite this, the fees charged were outrageous and completely disproportionate to the level of service provided.
I have family members training and working as solicitors who would have done a far better job. In all honesty, I believe I would have been better off representing myself — it would have been cheaper and likely led to a better outcome.
There was little to no consideration for me as a client, and I have since experienced persistent harassment regarding outstanding fees, which only adds insult to injury after such poor service and they never call back everything is a mess with the company.
Please think very carefully before using this firm.
Update: During the court hearing, I observed the barrister instructed by LDJ Solicitors and the opposing party’s representative speaking together for around 10–15 minutes once a court break was granted. I also saw them leave for lunch around the same time and in the same direction. Although I was represented by LDJ Solicitors at this hearing, it still felt as though I was effectively on my own during proceedings, which felt concerning and added to my concerns about how my case was handled.

I suggest that your receptionist takes a lesson in telephone manor I have her name off the solicitors secretary but will discuss with owner if he feels the need to get in touch with me. This arises after my late wife's executors decided to use your Nuneaton office. Your receptionist came across as a rude and bombastic person refusing to allow me to speak to Lucie. My wife passed away 7th Feb 2025.

I know they can help because they were recommended to me by a professional but they told me they can't help because its not what they do. 🤨OK. Who are they trying to fool. Even after the receptionist had referred me to the hinckley branch. 🤐
