The worst solicitors ever. I would avoid at all costs and I have no idea how they are still operating.
Communication has been virtually non-existent. We were given an expected completion date, only for communication to suddenly stop. Emails have been ignored, phone calls have gone unanswered, and there has been no proactive updates or explanation.
Our solicitor has repeatedly tried to contact Law Comm Solicitors by both telephone and email without success. We have also been unable to get any meaningful response ourselves. As a result of their lack of communication and apparent inaction, our purchase is now at serious risk of falling through. They are so inconsiderate and this is people’s lives they are messing with - they do not care! Avoid at all costs!!
View this review on GoogleI was the seller in a property transaction where this firm acted for the buyer. The transaction lasted around 10 months and ultimately collapsed.
During the process a number of enquiries were raised very late in the transaction despite documentation already being supplied through the management pack and previous replies. Issues relating to historical works to the property were repeatedly revisited, which significantly delayed progress.
From my perspective the handling of the matter created unnecessary delays and stress for all parties involved, and after many months of work and expense the buyer eventually withdrew. Me as a seller spent huge amounts of money on this sale so as you can imagine it wasnt an ideal outcome, which could have definitely been avoided.
I would hope future transactions are handled in a more efficient and proactive manner but I definitely wouldn't accept an offer from a purchaser who wished to use this company ever again.

On several occasions, staff were dismissive and unprofessional in the way they spoke to clients, which only added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation.
The overall experience was frustrating, but the biggest issue was dealing with the manager, who came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Communication throughout the process was slow and poorly handled, and instead of resolving concerns respectfully, we were often spoken to in an unacceptable manner. I would not use this firm again.

Communication was almost impossible. Calls rang out or went to voicemail, emails went unanswered, and when someone did reply it was usually a single blunt sentence that clarified nothing. It felt like trying to complete a sale with a brick wall.
The most unbelievable moment came when the buyers lender told us they had not received documents that this firm told our solicitor had been sent. That seemed to sum up the entire experience.
Ten months of delays cost us extra valuations, extra fees, and eventually the entire buyer. We have never seen a transaction handled with such little urgency or care.
In my opinion this firm operates in a way that leaves customers stranded and frustrated. It has been genuinely astonishing how slow and chaotic the process has been.
