The staff we have come into contact with are professional and friendly, there's no doubt they know what they're doing.
As Solicitors they aren't the cheapest but over the years we've dealt with many different solicitors and these guys are definately the most responsive. It's nice not to have to keep constantly chasing to keep things moving.

The legal advice was sound, our solicitor Robertas (assisted by Thomas) was personable and professional, seemed to pick up on everything immediately, proactively prepared documents and contacted people anticipating our decisions. He made things happen, got us in before a key date and all the paperwork was seamless. Highly recommend.
View this review on GoogleI would seriously question the level of service provision and professionalism at Knights Chester; as well as, the charging policy. I was charged way in excess of the fees initially quoted - partially because the partner involved billed every hour at his charge out rate - even for basic administration. This is in spite of the fact I was told that a more junior member of staff would undertake most of the work - she attended all of the meetings. Mr Haines also insisted on pointless rambling irrelevant phone meetings (which cost hundreds of pounds). He also billed me for time he spent discussing his families health issues and to watch him eat a meal (in the middle of the afternoon at a meeting he scheduled in a pub!). I have never known anything like it in all honesty.
View this review on GoogleThey represented our buyers. She kept telling us that the searches hadnt come back. I grew suspicious so myself and the buyer contacted the search dept in the council and were told that the searches had been sent back nearly 2 months prior 馃槨馃槨. That wasnt the only issue, despite having signed and handed in the contracts a week ago and confirming that the following friday would be suitable for completion, we still havent had exchange of contracts or a firm date. We assume our house will be completed tomorrow but who knows? The buyers ended up ringing the bank themselves after being told that they were in a queue, only to be told the funds had been released and they were waiting for Knights to ring them. I feel for the buyers who cant even arrange for a removal lorry despite our property being empty. I have 2 other houses to sell and if I get 2 offers, one of which using Knights I shall turn them down in favour of the other. Avoid like the plague
