View this review on GoogleI had to consult Judge and Priestley at a very difficult time. My wife was ill and apart from physical difficulties, was becoming more confused. I needed to sort out and register our Enduring Power of Attorney, revise our Wills and set up Lasting Power of Attorney for myself. My case was initially handled by Nimalee Bastian-Carter and later Edward Lewis dealt with the Enduring Power of Attorney. At my initial meeting with Ms Bastian-Carter I felt considerably relieved. She dealt with me in a very professional and friendly way, and enabled me to think more clearly about what I needed to do. The preparation of my Will and Lasting Power of Attorney went smoothly. Later, Edward Lewis dealt with the registration of Enduring Power of Attorney. I was glad I had sought professional help: it was more complicated than I imagined. I was very pleased with the professionalism of both Ms Bastian-Carter and Mr Lewis and the quality of the advice they gave me. I would recommend this firm of solicitors to anyone needing legal advice and the preparation of the kind of documents I have described.

Following the death of my father, David assisted me with obtaining probate and the administration of the estate. If you are looking for an experienced wills and probate specialist, I would wholeheartedly recommend him.
From our first meeting, David was compassionate, approachable and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every stage of the probate and estate administration process in clear and straightforward terms, which was invaluable during such a difficult time.
What particularly impressed me was David's ability to deal with a number of unforeseen and complex issues that arose during the administration of the estate. His expertise in probate, inheritance tax matters and estate administration, together with his attention to detail and calm approach, gave me complete confidence that everything was being handled properly and efficiently.
Throughout the matter, David and his Private Client team kept me fully informed, responded promptly to queries and provided outstanding client care. I also found his fee estimate to be fair, transparent and competitive when compared with other local solicitors I approached.
Losing a parent is never easy, but David made a difficult and emotional process much more manageable for me and my family. His professionalism, guidance and support throughout the probate process were exceptional.

I was daunted and felt inexperienced and unsure as a first time buyer but James was thorough, clear, efficient and patient. He wouldn't hesitate to answer my questions clearly and quickly when needed and was always happy to take the time to chat through or explain anything I was unsure about. It's been a pleasure working with him and I've been very grateful for his time, guidance and expertise - and for getting everything done in a timely manner - throughout the entire conveyancing process. He regularly kept me updated throughout the entire process. He promptly contacted the buyer's solicitor anytime there was any need to know how things were progressing from their side and kept me informed. I was always getting quick replies to my emails with very clear explanations to my questions. The sale was completed quickly and smoothly.
