Howells have recently acted for me regarding an employment matter. They are very helpful, explaining everything in plan language that was easy to understand and dealt with my query promptly.
I have also used them previously for the sale and purchase of property and was more than happy to use their services again.

She handled everything brilliantly and brought the case to a successful completion today. I’m genuinely grateful for her support and would highly recommend her. View this review on GoogleWe instructed Leah Moore (Bridgend Office) in relation to a sale and purchase, with the latter containing some complicated title defects. Leah was very patient and took the time to explain the defects and the implications these would have as the seller's were unwilling to remedy them, providing clear and straightforward advice. Whilst we did not proceed to exchange, Leah and her wider team were always very helpful, personable and professional whenever we liased with them on both our sale and purchase. Would highly recommend.
View this review on GoogleHowells have been acting on behalf of our buyers on a property that we accepted an offer on in May 2024. Howells have been extremely poor throughout the process, which is still not completed in May 2025, one year later. The purchase has been passed onto to multiple different solicitors to deal with, they have made repeated mistakes and taken excessively long periods of time to respond which has delayed the whole process. I would not use Howells to purchase or sell a property.

From the start of our house purchase, communication was extremely poor. It was very difficult to get any updates, our questions we answered 1 week later with no promised callbacks. Amber, who was handling our case, was frequently ‘unavailable’. Our purchase was chain-free and should have been a straightforward process, yet the lack of communication and progress caused unnecessary stress and frustration. We put the offer in first week of Feb 2026 and still not timeframe of when it would be completed by. In the end, we had no choice but to withdraw from the purchase, losing both our time and money. If our case was a matter of urgency why would a document you received on Wednesday not be reviewed till the following Monday when I called to say I am planning on withdrawing then you had time to review the documents. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this firm based on the service we received
