Leena and Sara have been amazing throughout the sale of our house, keeping us informed and updated at every stage. Using a local firm of solicitors was also incredibly convenient, as it made it so easy to pop in and sign any paperwork when needed — often while we were out walking the dog! This successful purchase follows two previous aborted transactions where we were forced to pull out. On both occasions, Siobhan and Adara provided critical, sound advice that shielded us from risk, uncovering complex leasehold issues that were further compounded by unhelpful sellers and estate agents concealing material information from us. Having their sharp legal minds on our side during those stressful times (particularly as first time buyers) was nothing short of a blessing.
It has been quite a 12-month journey across the three transactions, but this final purchase was completed in just four months despite involving some complex probate work, alongside extra surveying requirements given the age of the property and our planned light renovation works. While we expected these issues to cause bottlenecks, Siobhan and Adara demonstrated great skill and due diligence to ensure a remarkably speedy turnaround. Their proactive chasing, especially during a tense final week of delays thanks to paperwork and communication issues on the seller’s side, ensured we finally got it over the line.
