We had no idea at the time that our purchase would turn out to be so complex however, Claire went above and beyond to ensure that at all times we were kept informed of how the matter was progressing as well as working hard to make sure that all the legal problems were resolved prior to our ownership.
As the purchase took over six months (through absolutely no fault of Hall Smith Whittingham), Steven, Michael and Hayley also all worked on our file and continued to push for a completion date despite having their own busy caseloads.
We would certainly recommend Claire and her colleagues!
View this review on GoogleI chose HSW to deal with the financial settlement of my divorce. Ian Hamilton Fey provided excellent advice, predicted the proceedings and outcome and was good throughout the whole of the matter, which went right to a final hearing in court.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ian if you are struggling with a financial settlement.

Ian Hamilton-Fey was very approachable and helpful, and this made things a lot easier for me during a difficult time in my life. Pat Carlisle has also been excellent and 'on the ball' every time that she has provided conveyancing services for me (3 times so far). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for both divorce and conveyancing services. I can't rate them highly enough. I also found their fees to be very reasonable.
