I instructed Geoffrey Leaver for an employment matter, and found the arrangement worked extremely well. Stuart Snelson gave clear, pragmatic advice at the outset which shaped how I approached everything that followed, and was straightforward about where I could sensibly handle things myself rather than running up unnecessary fees.
Costs were transparent and fair throughout. I was given an estimate at the start, and when the work took longer than expected the invoice was capped at the estimate without my having to ask - which says a lot.
The wider team were responsive too. When the timetable became tight, Jo and Paula both made time available at very short notice.
The matter concluded on terms I'm satisfied with. I'd instruct them again and would happily recommend the firm.
