I had a really positive experience with Crown Law Solicitors, especially Romeo, who supported me through my Right to Buy purchase. The process was quite stressful at times, particularly with a tight mortgage deadline, but Romeo was reassuring, responsive, and incredibly professional throughout.
He helped ensure everything was completed on time and guided me through each stage with patience, answering all my questions and easing my worries when I felt uncertain. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, the purchase of my home was completed successfully and on time.
Buying my home was a huge milestone for me, and I’m genuinely grateful for the support I received. I would highly recommend Crown Law Solicitors and especially Romeo to anyone going through a property purchase. Thank you once again.
View this review on GoogleI recently completed the sale of my property using Crown Law Solicitors, and unfortunately the experience fell well short of what I expect from a professional legal service.
Over the course of the transaction I dealt with five different team members, and the handovers were clearly incomplete. On several occasions a newly assigned solicitor told me they would have acted differently from the previous one. This inconsistency directly contributed to delays and confusion.
A major example was the issue of fire safety and asbestos documentation. As sellers of a freehold with common areas, we later learned this was a legal requirement. Rather than advising us of this from the outset, the team accepted our comment that the documents weren’t provided when we bought four years earlier and proceeded on that basis. This oversight alone delayed the sale by more than a month and left us feeling that we weren’t receiving proactive or accurate legal guidance.
We also struggled with lack of direction and support on key documents. We were left to complete complex forms, such as the stock transfer, without guidance, resulting in errors and rework. We weren’t provided with printed copies when needed, even during a period when we had made it clear that arranging this ourselves was personally difficult. Many queries were written in dense legal language without layman’s explanation, creating unnecessary back-and-forth.
At multiple points we were told we had provided everything required, only for the team to later request additional documents, some of which (like a mortgage statement or PEP form) should have been identified much earlier.
Communication was another major pain point. Phone calls were answered less than 10% of the time, and despite repeated requests we often received new emails instead of replies to existing threads, making it hard to track conversations. When issues arose, there was a reluctance to accept responsibility, with blame frequently directed toward internal or external parties.
To their credit, individuals were polite throughout; but politeness alone doesn’t compensate for a process that felt fragmented, reactive, and lacking in clear ownership.
I hope Crown Law takes this feedback seriously and strengthens their processes around communication, handovers, documentation requirements, and client guidance. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend their services.
View this review on GoogleI used Crown Law to sell my flat. Romeo supported me through the entire process and he made the whole thing really easy and stress free for me. He was very knowledgeable and provided great insight and advice when needed and just got on with it. I'd definitely use Crown Law again and would gladly recommend them.
View this review on GoogleKavita at Crown Law was exceptional in handling my property purchase. She was thorough, efficient, and kept me informed at every stage of the process. Her attention to detail and clear communication made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and well managed. I truly appreciated her professionalism and would highly recommend her services.
View this review on GoogleI have to say I have been utterly exhausted by this firm during probate. Now they can’t even process the distributions to the beneficiaries until next Thursday. Blaming being short staffed! The errors made have made our loss even greater to deal with and move on with mourning. I would highly recommend you don’t use this solicitors firm for anything.
