I worked with Georgia Hawkins on the sale of my London flat, which turned out to be a far more complex transaction than initially anticipated.
Throughout it all, Georgia remained calm, thorough, and highly professional. She navigated the technical aspects with precision while ensuring I understood what was happening at each stage. Her communication was clear and measured, particularly during moments where delays and third-party complications could easily have caused unnecessary stress.
Quite simply, Georgia was my rock throughout the process. Her steadiness, clarity, and persistence made an enormous difference during what could otherwise have been an overwhelming experience. I truly cannot thank her enough for the care and diligence she brought to this transaction.
I also dealt with Daniel Gower at the outset. He was remarkable from the start — consistently responsive, clear in his guidance, and proactive in moving matters forward.
I would also like to mention Lauren James, who stepped in at key moments during particularly challenging stages of the process. She handled matters beautifully, with responsiveness and professionalism that reinforced my confidence in the firm as a whole.
Thanks to their collective diligence and persistence, the sale completed smoothly despite the hurdles involved. I have already been recommending Georgia and Daniel to others and would not hesitate to continue doing so. If you are looking for solicitors who combine technical competence with composure and integrity, Comptons are an excellent choice.
View this review on GoogleI recently used Comptons for the purchase of my flat in Islington and had a positive experience from start to finish. The conveyancing team was responsive and clear — which was helpful as a first-time buyer navigating a share of freehold.
Special thanks to Lauren James, Elisa-Christine Constantas and Georgia Hawkins in the Conveyancing Department, who kept things moving, chased outstanding items, and explained each step. Post-completion has been smooth.
View this review on GoogleBuying my first home in London was a daunting process, especially doing it on my own, but the team at Compton Solicitors made the experience so much smoother.
Lisa Noble was exceptional throughout the purchase. She was incredibly thorough, diligent, and always made sure every detail was properly checked before I moved forward. I felt confident knowing she was looking after my interests every step of the way.
A huge thank you as well to Nicola Carlisle and Jayne Plume, who were both so helpful, responsive, and supportive throughout the process. They took the time to answer my questions, kept me informed, and guided me through what could otherwise have been a very overwhelming experience.
I genuinely felt that the whole team cared about getting things right rather than simply getting the transaction over the line. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and kindness gave me real peace of mind.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Compton Solicitors to anyone buying or selling a property, especially if it's your first home. Thank you, Lisa, Nicola and Jayne, for helping me reach such an important milestone!

I’ve now used Comptons Solicitors on more than one occasion, including a previous bridging loan and, most recently, my remortgage. On both matters, the service has been professional, efficient and well managed from start to finish.
A special thank you to Georgia Hawkins and Lauren James for their excellent communication, attention to detail and support throughout the process. Their hard work made everything run as smoothly as possible.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use Comptons Solicitors again and would highly recommend them.

View this review on GoogleWe couldn't be happier with the service we received from Susanna Levingstone during our flat purchase. From start to finish, she was meticulous and thorough. Throughout what can be a stressful process, she was an absolute rock — always responsive, quick to answer our questions, and brilliant at keeping momentum going so nothing stalled unnecessarily. We felt genuinely well protected at every stage, knowing she had our interests firmly in mind.
It was a brilliant experience overall, and we wouldn't hesitate to use her again for any future conveyancing needs. Can't recommend her highly enough!
