My experience at Clarion was memorable because, the advice was comprehensive, very knowledgeable. Presented in a manner I could understand. Gareth and Luke were lovely people. I felt very safe and comfortable dealing with them.
View this review on GoogleMy experience with Clarion Solicitors was extremely disappointing. Communication was slow at key stages, including a long period without updates after a meeting where clear progress had been discussed.
I also had concerns about the clarity and detail of billing entries, which made it difficult to assess the work carried out. Upon complaining they quickly agree to compensate us and they agreed to a 50% reduction on fees, which I accepted in order to bring a stressful situation to a close. This says quite a lot of how much they thought about their own service.
More importantly, the overall outcome was very disappointing. Early on, the case was presented with great confidence and very high expectations, but it later became clear that achieving those outcomes would be extremely costly. We were not clearly warned of this upfront and ended up having to compromise before reaching court. Throughout the process, I did not feel confident that our best interests were being prioritised.
Based on my experience, I would have expected clearer advice on risks and costs, more transparency, and a stronger alignment between what was promised and what was ultimately delivered.
Case in point. Winter again and I still have the water leaks in my unit where I operate my business.

Their focus has been on getting as much money as they can from us rather than providing us with any legal advice and direction to our case. In my opinion they are out get as much money as they possibly can from you, without giving any advice. Very disappointing and very poor practice.

View this review on GoogleI have instructed this firm for a fee dispute matter and they over promised but haven't delivered. All they cared about is their fees and despite not doing any meaningful work or getting any results, they ended up with their fees (albeit discounted after I complained). My solicitor was Robert Patterson and I can only advise people to avoid dealing with this firm.
