I highly recommend Carpenters Solicitors, especially my solicitor Attila Varadi, who has handled my claim professionally and efficiently.
I was involved in a road traffic accident on 14 February 2026. Within 48 hours of the accident, I had already received all the necessary documents to sign. Shortly afterwards, my medical assessment and physiotherapy assessment were arranged without delay.
Attila has always answered my questions thoroughly, usually within a few days, and has kept my online portal updated throughout the process.
The third party admitted liability about a month after the accident. I decided to wait before accepting or considering any settlement offer because I wasn't feeling physically well and wanted to complete my physiotherapy treatment first. I attended 12 physiotherapy sessions, all arranged through Carpenters, and I'm very grateful for the support I received.
My prognosis period has now come to an end, and my solicitor contacted me immediately to discuss the next steps. I gave my permission for my medical report to be sent to the third party's insurer, and now we're waiting for their settlement offer.
I would definitely recommend this firm and would use them again if I ever needed legal assistance in the future.
*I'll post another update in about a month to let everyone know whether I've received an offer and whether my claim has been successfully settled.
View this review on GoogleMy accident occurred in November 2020, and my claim is still ongoing. While I appreciate that legal cases can take time and that solicitors often have a heavy caseload, the biggest issue throughout my experience has been the consistently poor communication and complete lack of proactive case management.
I am now on my third paralegal. On each occasion my file was transferred, I was never informed. I only discovered that my case had been passed to someone new because I chased for updates myself. That level of communication is simply not acceptable.
Getting an update is incredibly difficult. Emails often go unanswered, and I regularly have to chase just to find out what is happening. Ironically, on the rare occasions I do receive correspondence, I am pressured to respond as quickly as possible, which I always do. Unfortunately, that same urgency is never shown when responding to me.
The reason I am writing this review now is because I was recently informed that there is a court-imposed deadline affecting my case. I responded immediately and have continued to chase for updates, yet I have received no meaningful communication while that deadline is approaching. It is extremely frustrating to feel that I am the only person actively trying to move my own case forward.
I understand that delays can happen and that firms handle many cases. However, basic professionalism, communication, and keeping clients informed should be the minimum standard. After years of poor communication and feeling that my case has been left to drift, I cannot recommend this firm based on my experience.
For reference, my case number is SOU0843/08013.
View this review on GoogleAbsolutely awful company i was in a car crash over a year ago, with now 2 crushed discs, its not about the money. Its the lack of progress in my claim, the only time they talk to me is when I email them. They never answer the phone and either take days to respond or are on holiday. Apparently they've been waiting for my Dr's records that was 9 .months ago, so ive submitted it myself which will take 30 days. The driver accepted liability over a year ago so I really dont know why no updates, I would now like someone else to look at my case
View this review on GoogleI am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from Carpenter’s Solicitors.
My accident took place on 22/08/2024. The other party accepted liability, and I completed both my medical assessment and psychological evaluation back in January. Since then, I’ve heard virtually nothing about the progress of my claim.
I sent a follow-up email in March requesting an update, but I never received a response. Trying to contact the firm by phone is equally frustrating, as you’re left on hold for extended periods, and leaving messages doesn’t seem to achieve anything because nobody calls back.
I understand that legal claims can take time, but keeping clients informed is a basic expectation. Months without any communication is simply unacceptable and has left me feeling completely ignored.
Unless communication improves significantly, I would never recommend them to anyone

What an absolute joke of a company claim has been ready to settle for months and nothing and when I try to call I'm just put on hold for 20 minutes then hung up on avoid if you can and go elsewhere you'll have better results
Update:
Rang them again today and still no progress. Call for my file handler Bethany Gemmell to be put through to someone else to talk about the case but they dont know anything about my case and i need to talk to my file handler and they have raised an "urgent" note with there supervisor (for the third time)
