  Katie and Sue were absolutely brilliant. We used this firm for both the sale of our existing property and the purchase of our new home, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received.

  Throughout the entire process, they were incredibly professional, thorough, and detail-oriented. Their communication was excellent, with prompt responses to emails and regular updates that kept us informed every step of the way. No question was ever too much trouble, and they always took the time to explain things clearly and ensure we understood the process.

  Worked with Lorna at Aletta Shaw Solicitors on a purchase with a hard completion deadline tied to the end of a lease. If that date slipped, it would have created a real problem, so timing wasn’t optional.

  I’ve seen enough of these processes to know where things usually go wrong, slow replies, vague updates, and no one really taking control of the file. That didn’t happen here.

  Lorna was on it throughout. When something needed pushing, it got pushed. When there was an update, it was clear and to the point. No back and forth, no chasing for basic answers.

  There were a few things that could have slowed it down, lender requirements, deposit coming from overseas accounts, reliance on other parties in the chain. None of that turned into an issue on my side. It was handled without noise.

  Most importantly, we completed exactly when we needed to. No last minute panic, no surprises.

  That’s the difference between someone doing the job and someone actually managing it.

  If your deal has any time pressure, she’s the person you want handling it.

  I recommend using Aletta Shaw I needed a quick sale and Katie was amazing at pushing matters on as quick as possible for me. Katie was lovely to talk to and alway available. She definitely went above and beyond and gave great advice and made the whole experience as stress free as possible. Sue was also great at replying to emails and answering any queries I had. I’ll definitely be back when I buy another property. Thanks so much

  We used Aletta Shaw to help with the lease extension on our parents' property. They were always good at communicating and kept us advised on the process throughout. Katie was particularly helpful and talked through a number of things with us so we were completely clear on what was happening and why. I would recommend them without hesitation.

  Decided to use Aletta Shaw for the conveyancing for my first house based on the reviews and have been very impressed. Katie and Sue were professional, communicative and clearly care a lot. I had regular updates from them, they moved things along quickly where possible, they always picked up the phone, gave guidance where it was needed and I felt like they my interests were well looked after. Highly recommended & will use again.
