Alan Turner has acted for me in various property transactions for a number of decades. He is the most knowledgeable and experienced legal practitioner one can have, especially with the rather ancient and complicated titles within Bath. He is both methodical and thorough, and above all he has the confidence of others, often younger solicitors, acting for the other side.

View this review on GoogleA breath of fresh air. Mr Turner was quick but very detailed. I had a pre-auction offer accepted on a property and had to exchange relatively fast. Mr Turner reviewed all legal packs with detail, speed and was able to advise accordingly. He had even facilitate the sale / completion of several properties on the same street in the past. Would highly recommend for someone wanting a punctual, Bath-experienced and personal solicitor to work with.

Alan Turner is easily the WORST solicitor I have ever had the displeasure of working with. In all it took us 18 months to purchase a house were he was acting for the seller and a large part of this delay was caused by Alan Turner’s incompetence and ineptitude. It took him over 8 months to just respond to our solicitor despite numerous chasing…! He wouldn’t answer the phone or return our calls and after a year of waiting it came to light that many of the delays were caused by him incorrectly submitting forms to the probate office and then failing to respond to them when they contacted him. If I could give him 0 stars I would. PLEASE PLEASE avoid using this company at all costs.
