My experience with Adkirk Law has been mixed. The solicitors dealing with the sale of my property were professional, responsive, and handled the legal aspects of the transaction well. However, the service was let down by the handling of the sale proceeds.
My house sale completed on a Friday, but I did not receive the funds from the sale until the following Monday. This was frustrating, particularly as I had paid fees and administration charges with the expectation that the money would be transferred promptly upon completion.
What disappointed me most was the explanation I received afterwards, which suggested that the delay was due to the banking system. However, it later became apparent that the funds had not actually been sent until the Monday, meaning the delay was not caused by the bank as initially indicated.
I am also currently using Adkirk Law for the purchase of my new home and hope that process proceeds more smoothly. The legal work itself has generally been good, but the delay in releasing my sale proceeds and the communication surrounding it have affected my overall impression of the service.
For those reasons, I feel a 3-star rating is fair.

Both Linda and Amie were brilliant,very professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to reccomend this company to deal with any property matters.
